Erika Munson, Waterford School
Erika Munson teaches English and is the Class XI Dean, Middle and Upper School Librarian, and Internship Coordinator at the Waterford School in Sandy, Utah. Her purpose includes helping individual students learn how to build bridges with one another and others by seeking to understand others’ positions and interests in dialogue. She assists her students in their developmental skills and in negotiating difficult social situations. Erika is the Utah State Coordinator for Braver Angels, an organization which seeks to “Bring Americans together to bridge the partisan divide and strengthen our democratic republic.” She shares her skills and related workshops with her students, their parents, faculty, and a partner school.
